Math for early childhood
Measurement - Measuring in cm using birds wingspan/height as a visual source
Sheet 1: Includes 9 pictures of birds. Each bird has a line from head to tail, children are asked to measure this line then order the birds from shortest to longest.
Sheet 2: Includes 3 pictures for birds and their wingspan in cm. Children need to go around the classroom and find objects the same as the birds wingspan.
Great for practise using a ruler/metre stick.
Gaining accuracy and confidence in measurement.
